Lockdown Has Triggered Unhelpful Emotional Patterns

By | July 5, 2021

Studies have shown that it only takes 21 days to form a new habit.

Now we have formed new habits of distancing, I’m seeing more and more people struggling to go into crowded public places, and in some cases not able to step outside the front door. Many are reluctant to return to their place of work because they feel safer at home.

The people suffering the most have experienced childhood events concerning safety. Their belief system alerts them that nothing is safe, and so they stay shut in their houses.

This is an extreme example, but milder anxieties of this nature are affecting many people, especially teenagers who are already going through major life changes.

Similarly, being cooped up with the people we live with 24/7 has brought to the surface recurring emotional challenges, relationship issues and abusive scenarios.

Getting support to heal these emotional patterns is more important than ever.

Discovering and healing the root cause means people can start feeling calm and confident… and life shifts in a positive way.
