        Always helps, Isobel.

A wonderful flow of energy, in harmony with my yoga and tai chi/qigong practice.

What sparked your decision to first study Shiatsu ?

After I received acupuncture for many years I became interested in the theory behind the treatments. I applied to study acupuncture but at the the time there were only one or two colleges in England that taught it. None of them were in easy reach of where I was living. I talked to a friend who asked me if I had heard of Shiatsu. By that time I had studied massage and knew that I had healing hands. I went for a treatment with a lady called Anne Palmer, in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, who also happened to run her own Shiatsu College in Newcastle. That was in 1993. I am so grateful that I had this chance conversation with my friend.

What a lovely website you have Isobel – the colour scheme is so calming – it makes a change from the hustle and bustle of so many websites.

This complements the therapies you offer so well.
